Staff and residents from Benaiah are set to bake and serve treats at a Gardenstown café to help more people break free from life-controlling issues.
The team will be dishing up home bakes, fresh pancakes, hot drinks and much more, as part of a fundraiser at the town’s Harbucks Café.
From Monday, August 26, to Friday, August 30, they will be on hand to serve customers – from 2pm-4:30pm and 6pm-9pm each day – with money raised being used to support our work at Teen Challenge.
Grace Donn, a Senior Support Worker at Benaiah, commented: “We’re looking forward to our week at Harbucks and are very grateful to the team at the café for the opportunity to not only raise money, but also raise awareness of our work to put hope within reach of addicts.
“Initiatives like this can also be extremely beneficial for our residents in helping to build their confidence, while giving something back to the centre where their lives are being turned around.
