WHO WE ARE A vision for a Cafe came in to existence back in 1996. Breaking down all denominational barriers, seven different churches united together to transform a disused building in to a fully functional outreach café thus bridging the gap between the community and the church in the town of Fraserburgh. Today the Solid Rock has become more than just a cafe. Developing into such areas as a Rehabilitation Centre and various other outreach projects, the vision has now grown to become 'Solid Rock Ministries'. WHAT WE DO Fight Against the drug/alcohol abuse problem by providing Christian Addiction Support Groups, Parent Support Groups and Rehab placement, showing those involved in addiction that Christ offers new life. Prevent the younger generation from being molded into the same lifestyle which society in Fraserburgh seems to dictate, by providing alternative entertainment through activities and by integrating them into church life. Build Relationships through various social, sports and entertainment events in a friendly atmosphere. Create a Safe Haven for people who are hurting and need to share their problems. It's a place where we can offer hope. Provide a House of Prayer for the needs of the community of Fraserburgh. Promote Unity between various churches and denominations joining Christians together for a common purpose. Partner with churches and mission organizations internationally through short-term mission teams and missionary placements.
